The Inauguration (via TVOne & BBC World News)
11:16 am - Poor George H.W. Bush looks so frail with his limp and walking cane.
11:24 am - Sasha and Malia look beautiful as they walk down that carpet. Malia definitely has her mother's grace.
11:29 am - The crowd is so quiet before Michelle comes out. Do you know how hard it is to get a crowd that size to be that quiet?
11:32 am - The shot of that crowd in the National Mall is staggering. I know it's not the first time it's been that full (and probably won't be the last), but it's still pretty impressive.
11:35 am - There's Cheney. That's all I have to say about that.
11:39 am - Okay, now I'm feeling nervous for Obama's safety. For the first time ever, really. It feels odd.
11:43 am - Ladies and gentlemen, the President-Elect Barack H. Obama.
11:54 am - Oh, there goes Re-Re! Do us proud woman!
11:58 am - We have a new Vice-President. Praise Jesus!
12:01 pm - I wish the commentators would shut up and let me listen to the chamber orchestra, because the arrangement that's sneaking through is beautiful. I feel so sorry for the musicians' fingers.
12:05 pm - Uh oh, he stuttered. It's okay to be nervous. :-) Whoo-hoo!!! We have a new President. Praise God! Ooh, cannons firing. Nice. I bet that scared the hell out of everybody.
12:31 pm - Some poets don't read their own work well. She's one of them.
12:36 pm - That was a nice closing benediction. You g'won brother. :-) LOL!! Reverend Lowery, former president of the SCLC, is a trip.
12:40 pm - And now we're done.
